Kelly is the heart and soul of Medina Turf Farms, having founded and built the company into what it is today. As the farm's first owner, she is a strong leader, yet still the most loving and caring person in the room. Her dedication is a driving force, as she handles everything from the books to the machinery, including her impressive skills on a forklift. She is a true inspiration for women in the industry and a devoted wife and mother to three boys. Her puppy and grand puppy, Potato and Roux, are also frequent visitors to the farm. Kelly's leadership pushes us to grow, both in the fields and in our own lives, and we are all extremely grateful for her guidance.

Ryan carries on a proud family tradition. Having grown up in the Medina Sod business, he now helps manage Medina Turf Farms, taking great pride in working alongside his wife and three sons. As the owner of Ag Design, he is an industry leader in Athletic Field Construction, and his expertise is invaluable to our farm operations. However, Ryan's most important role is that of "The Teacher." He is committed to instilling wisdom and core values in his boys, both on and off the farm. Known for his generosity and his incredible work ethic, Ryan is an inspiration to all. In his free time, he is an avid hunter who enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family.

Preston brings a modern approach and a unique skill set to the farm. With his degree in Business Management and his background in marketing, he's a natural fit for his roles managing our seed and fertilizer sales and overseeing our social media. Preston also plays a vital role in day-to-day farm operations, and his versatility extends to our sister company, Ag Design, where he helps out when needed. A scholarship athlete at Walsh University, he was recognized for his positive mental attitude and brings that same mindset to the business. When he's not at the farm, Preston can be found coaching football at Buckeye High School, or spending time with his friends and brothers.

Parker is the glue that holds our team together and the steady hand guiding our daily operations. Once our youngest lead harvester, he now oversees the entire harvest operation as our Farm Manager—a role he's more than prepared for. Parker is passionate about ensuring we deliver the best possible product, and he's not afraid to put in long hours to get the job done. He's also a natural mentor, having guided his younger brother in the very role he once held. Away from the farm, Parker is a devoted outdoorsman who loves to hunt and fish, and he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Lizzie, and their new pup, Roux. We are incredibly proud of Parker's growth and grateful for his dedication to our team.

As the youngest member of the Medina Turf Farms team, Peyton brings a fresh energy to his role as a Lead Harvest Operator. He works alongside Mike, ensuring our fields are harvested with precision and care. A true family guy, Peyton loves being on the farm and working alongside his brothers every day. When he's not cutting sod, you can find him on the baseball field, managing his fantasy football team, or enjoying some of his favorite pastimes like hunting. His passion for both his family and the work he does makes him a valued and integral part of the business.

Scott is the welcoming voice of Medina Turf Farms, often the first person our customers connect with. As a sales advisor, his primary goal is to ensure every customer finds the perfect product for their needs, no matter how big or small the project. From opening the shop in the morning to locking up at night, Scott's dependability and commitment are unmatched. A proud Air Force veteran, he brings a disciplined work ethic to everything he does. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering with 4H, playing softball, and cherishing moments with his wife and kids. We are all incredibly grateful for the dedication he shows to both our company and our customers.

As the face of our operation, Dave is the friendly personality you're most likely to see when you get a delivery. He is an amazing person and a highly dependable and safe truck driver. Dave takes great pride in ensuring your sod arrives between 10 AM and 2 PM, always unloading with a smile on his face. When he's not at work, Dave loves being active in his community, often lending a hand to friends, small businesses, and sharing his incredible cooking. He also enjoys spending time with his dog, Belushi, as well as tending to his garden and bee-keeping.

Though he's a part-time member of our team, Arlen is a vital part of the Medina Turf Farms family. During the summer season, he's the dependable driver who runs loads for both Medina Turf Farms and our sister company, AG Design. Arlen is willing to do whatever it takes to help out and often works more hours than he bargains for, a testament to his dedication and work ethic. He embodies everything we ask of our guys, and we're grateful for his continued commitment to the company.

Mark is an essential part of the Medina Turf Farms team, bringing a wealth of expertise and a can-do attitude to our daily operations. As our lead mechanic, his work is vital to our efficiency and success. A graduate of Ohio Diesel Tech, Mark's skill set is second to none, and he's always ready to jump in a truck or tractor to help keep a job moving. Beyond his technical prowess, Mark's greatest strength is his willingness to share his knowledge, patiently training the next generation of operators. Outside of work, Mark is a proud family man, a passionate 4H volunteer, and a championship youth football coach. His commitment to excellence, both on and off the farm, makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

As a retired truck driver and Vietnam Veteran, Rob brings a lifetime of stories and a great sense of humor to Medina Turf Farms. When he's not expertly mowing our fields, he's brightening our days with his warm personality and friendly banter. Rob is a frequent and welcome visitor to the shop, always ready to share a laugh and a story with the crew. A true American hero, we are immensely grateful for his service and the multiple Purple Hearts he earned. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and tending to his beloved tractor, "Rose-Bud." Rob's joyful spirit and friendly nature make him an invaluable part of the Medina Turf Farms family.

Mike is our go-to guy, a lead harvester with a can-do attitude and a smile that lights up the farm. He's not only an expert operator of our equipment, but also a patient teacher who helps others master new skills. Mike's generous spirit and willingness to help anyone, anytime, anywhere, make him a true asset to our team and a favorite with customers. A devoted family man, he enjoys spending time with his family and his 10 and a half dogs (no, we don't ask). He's also an avid outdoorsman, passionate about hunting, fishing, and trapping. Mike also owns and operates Scratch 'em Up Kennels, where he specializes in training hunting dogs. We appreciate his dedication and positive attitude.

Karen is the steady hand that keeps the Medina Turf Farms office running smoothly. With years of valuable experience, she provides invaluable support to Kelly throughout the week, helping to manage everything from answering phones and ensuring people have office access to providing sound advice on large business deals. Karen is truly one-of-a-kind, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she does to keep things running efficiently on the farm.

Since 2020, Tater has proudly served as Medina Turf Farms’ Head of Security and overseer of day-to-day operations. Don’t let her cute looks fool you—Tater takes her job seriously, staying alert and ready to sound the alarm if anything seems out of place. While she has been known to accept the occasional “bribe” in the form of treats, her dedication to protecting the farm, the team, and everything in between never wavers. When she’s off duty, Tater enjoys watching TV shows, lounging by the fireplace, and helping with irrigation alongside her dad. Whether on patrol or at play, Tater brings loyalty, energy, and a touch of charm to everything she does.

Roux joined the Medina Turf Farms team in 2025 as our newest employee. He works closely with the harvest crew, lending a paw in day-to-day operations and keeping a watchful eye over the fields. Roux especially enjoys his walks around the farm, making sure everything is running smoothly—and he takes particular pride in keeping those pesky birds in check. In his free time, Roux enjoys hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. Though still learning the ropes, he has quickly become a valued member of the team, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of tail wags to the farm every day.
